We will be using the highly controversial subject of animal testing to boost our thinking, writing, speaking, and research skills.
We will be gathering information, exploring all sides of the issue, forming opinions, defending a position, and refining understandings.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent researching both sides of the argument. On Thursday and Friday, we will craft thesis statements and write position paragraphs; revisiting the accordion method from earlier in the semester.
Completed research packets are due by Thursday morning (12/11), at the beginning of class.
